The Big Draw Larkhall Park




The Big Draw in Larkhall park offered the local community an opportunity to create images,offer recipes and illustrate ideas for their ideas for the park. These were recorded as drawings on cloth pieces that will be used as bunting for 'The Big Tea', a project spanning 1 year and starting in Larkhall later this year.

I wish people would care about the earth and understand about pollution and not littering so earth would be a better place and it will snow.
Cafe's that serve as social centre's and sell healthy food!! at a sensible price.

More family houses in Lambeth
I wish the roadworks on Brixton hill would finish sooner rather than later.
i wish I have my own bedroom please( I share with my mum cos flat is too small)
I wish for there to be safe cycle routes to encourage exercise for children in safe areas.
I wish that all the residents would get involved in the process of deciding what is best for the borough and seek to understand cultures other than theirs.

Engage Children's Art Day
As part of the art day, the community flat in Tulse Hill Estate held an open exhibition. The work celebrated the achievements of the children's art club showing a selection of photomontage, photographs and collage around themes of wellbeing .The project was called 'Reasons to be cheerful'.
Reasons to be Cheerful
The participating audience were also invited to take part in a visual consultation exploring the theme of reasons to be cheerful.

Babyfest Butterfly wishes
As part of Streatham festival babyfest, workshops with parent/carers and toddlers ,
wellbeing was explored through adult/child interaction using song,puppetry and craft.
Participants were invited to make butterfly wishes as part of a wellbeing consultation reflecting upon the wishes of Lambeth residents.

As part of Lambeth Arts Cultivate stand at the country show we ran a participatory consultation to capture the wishes of Lambeth residents.

The change that you wish in yourself you can wish for the world.

I wish we could see an end to all the gun and knife crime in Lambeth.
I wish everyone could be provided for and be happy.
